Rob Duffy is a Personal & Business Coach, Regional Director, and board member of two organisations. He is also a startup entrepreneur. Changing career in 2013, from working a secure job for 15 years which didn’t satisfy an inner desire, to finishing a Bse degree and setting up Life Choice Solutions embarking on this transformational coaching work with clients, Rob know what it feels like to be less than satisfied by the direction one’s life is going in.
Rob realised that ‘nobody was coming to save me’ and that if he wanted to achieve personal freedom and happiness, he was going to have to step out of the comfort zone. Rob made the decision to leave his job in 2011 and set a list of goals to be achieved to make the transition from where he was to where he is going now. This is what Rob helps his clients with all the time.
He completed his undergraduate degree in 2013 in Social Sciences (with Psychology) and became accredited with the Irish Lifecoach Institute in early 2015. Rob also graduated from the Innovation Academy in University College Dublin in 2015 having studied Innovation, Entrepreneurship & Enterprise. Rob is also a Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) Practitioner having completed his accreditation at the Institute for Health Sciences in Dublin.
Rob has worked with Aware as a volunteer on their Life Skills Programme which facilitates clients who are suffering with depression or anxiety. On the programme the client works through a CBT based programme to identify areas in their lives where their thoughts, behaviours and feelings are originating and with new awareness the client can attempt to bring themselves some new insights and to cope better, hopefully overcoming ingrained patterns of negative thinking.
Rob continues to work with individuals from all over the world who wish to make changes moving forward and reaching their goals. Rob helps clients to aid improved performance, the creation of time management protocols and planning and scheduling procedures, adjustment and removal of unhelpful values and beliefs and work on motivation and also procrastination issues where they show up in the clients lives.
By holding a space in 1-2-1 coaching sessions where clients can be held accountable to themselves and the objectives they outline, client growth over a relatively short space of time can be phenomenal and hugely gratifying to help enable. Rob is a highly sought coach now in Dublin and works with clients around the globe with the help of internet opening access to people around the world who can also be impacted by Rob’s empathetic and understanding style of coaching.
Rob also has a passion for freedom and liberty and in 2016 Rob became a board member of European Students for Liberty and took the role of Regional Director on Ireland, United Kingdom & Benelux regions. This is a classical liberal/libertarian NGO which aims to educate, empower and develop young people to become the future leaders and innovators of the world.
Rob is also a part-time musician and plays guitar and sings. He also likes to read and meet new people in his spare time.
